Elina Svitolina announces new coaching team for 2022

After parting ways with Andrew Bettles – who leaded her to 12 career titles — the Ukrainian tennis star is now partnering with Andis Juska and Günther Bresnik for the upcoming season. At 27 years old, Elina Svitolina is setting high ambitions for the next season and she will count on the extensive experience of her two new team members to reach her expectations.

Former professional player Andis Juska will be Elina’s coach. After playing on the ATP Tour where he remains the second best ever ranked Latvian player, Andis Juska has been working with several WTA players on the tour, including Jelena Ostapenko and Amanda Anisimova.

Elina Svitolina also decided to reinforce her team with Günther Bresnik who will officiate as a consulting coach. The famous Austrian is recognized as a reference on the tour as he coached over twenty-five Top 100 players during his career from Boris Becker to Dominic Thiem. Currently coaching Gaël Monfils – Elina’s husband – Günther Bresnik will bring his strong experience and his expertise to her game.
