Top Five Management represents Les Petits As – Le Mondial Lacoste and is in charge of the USA Playoffs Lacoste presented by AQR, a qualifying event for the main tournament in Tarbes. This year, the event was organized for the 3rd time in Florida.

The qualifying tournament has closed a major sponsorship commitment with AQR. The American hedge fund became the presenting partner of the USA Playoffs Lacoste events, including the final event in Florida and the 3 new Series events launched in September.

Indeed, a Series of 3 qualifying events were held for the first time. They were hosted at Northwestern University in Evanston (Illinois), Palisades Tennis Center in Los Angeles (California) and ProWorld Academy in Delray Beach (Florida). 125 players registered on myUTR platform and participated in the Series.  Winners of each event (3 boys & 3 girls) automatically qualified for the USA Playoffs Lacoste presented by AQR.

Besides AQR, all the major global partners of Les Petits As – Lacoste, Tecnifibre & IKI Sport – were visible during the event. Highlights of the tournament, including daily mentions of the above partners and the players, were extensively covered in Les Petits As social media. The global estimated reach of the posts and articles shared during the events is 131.6k.

The USA Playoffs Lacoste presented by AQR were organized at the base of the brand-new ProWorld at Olympus International Academy in Boca Raton. The sixteen best American players (8 boys & 8 girls) were selected according to their ranking and entered the main draw automatically. Other spots went to the wild cards and winners of the USA Playoffs Lacoste Series.

After 5 match days, 8 players ( 4 girls & 4 boys) qualified for Les Petits As – Le Mondial Lacoste. The girls who got their tickets to France are Clervie Ngounoue, Maya Joint, Lexington Reed & Brooklyn Olson. Finally, the specialty of this year’s edition is the partnership with the WTA Future Stars: the winner of the USA Playoffs Lacoste presented by AQR girls draw, Clervie Ngounoue, got a spot in this elite Asian tournament and eventually won the trophy. The event organized by the WTA took place in Shenzhen, China, right before the WTA Finals – from 20-28th October 2019. Last year, it reunited players from 21 Asian countries who first had to qualify in their country to participate. The event was held in Singapore, at the same stadium where top tennis stars used to play the annual WTA Finals. The tournament has grown now and gathered the best players of the U14 and U16 categories from Asia-Pacific, Canada, the US, and the UK, including the winner of the USA Playoffs Lacoste presented by AQR. Clervie Ngounoue became a champion of the WTA Future Stars after winning her final match 6:2-7:6 against the Canadian player Kayla Cross and will now join the top junior tennis players at Les Petits As – le Mondial Lacoste in January.
