18-year old Ukrainian Viktoriia Dema, who is represented by “Top Five” agency, became the absolute winner of the ITF tournament in Cairo and triumphed in both singles and doubles.
Viktoriia began the singles tournament in qualification and got seven victories on her way to the title. Moreover, she also defeated the top-seed Sandra Samir from Egypt in the semi-final. The Ukrainian also spent two sets in the final to defeat the seed No. 4 Cristina Ene from Romania: 6-2 7-5.
As for the doubles tournament, Viktoriia paired with the Japanese Minami Akiyama and they also managed to defeat the top-seeds (Anastasiya Shoshyna from Ukraine and Sandra Samir) in the decisive match: 6-2 6-7(2) 10-6.
